Coaches, Parents, Member Representatives,
As the new year festivities come to a close it is now time to prepare for the 2010 Indiana youth lacrosse season. The IYLA executive committee has been hard at work this off-season preparing for this year’s annual meeting and scheduling meeting. Please pass this email on to any and all coaches/representatives in your program.
Many of you received an email last month informing you of Tim Clark’s departure from the IYLA presidential seat. Tim played an instrumental role in the formation of the IYLA and we can’t thank him enough for all of his hard work. On November 9th the executive committee met and then vice president Scott Kolb accepted the role as interim President. The IYLA by-laws state that each officer must be voted on by the board of directors to begin their two year term. Every program in the state that participated in the IYLA has one voter, the representatives from the programs in the state make up the board of directors.
Current Nominations for the 2010-2012 Executive Committee are as follows:
- President: Scott Kolb – St. Simon
- Vice President: Brian Welch – Zionsville
- Secretary: Alonso Miller – Center Grove
- Treasurer: Phil Daubenmire – Heritage Christian
To send in nominations to be voted on Feb 20th, please email me as soon as possible.
